MBA 5041T - Fundamentals of Management
This course provides an introduction to fundamental concepts and vocabulary of Management for the students required to take the proficiency course in Management. Emphasis is placed on the applications of management theories and concepts to practical problems in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling functions of management. Topics include the history of management, organizational environments and cultures, planning and decision making, organizational structure and design, motivation and leadership, group processes, foundations of control and operations and Value Chain Management.
